My Story

I am the Managing Partner of Astria Elevate, a private equity firm that views business transformation through an operator’s lens.

My hands-on experience in building and scaling companies has shown me that the most compelling opportunities often lie beyond financial statements—in the untapped potential of teams, processes, and market positioning.

While many lower middle market firms focus solely on financial engineering, Astria Elevate partners with business owners to unlock transformative growth through operational expertise and strategic vision.

I also founded and serve as Managing Partner of AGI Partners, a private equity firm focused on acquiring and scaling companies in the lower middle market.

The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG NY), a leading global community for middle-market M&A deal-makers, has awarded AGI Partners the Private Equity Firm of the Year title, among other honors.

I have also been honored with the M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Award for my work as a dealmaker.

Previously, I was the Founder and CEO of BreachQuest, a cybersecurity company that developed incident response technology to minimize breach costs and downtime.

I led the company’s sale to Resilience, a cyberinsurance company.

In 2010, I co-founded and served as Chairman of Pristine Environments, leading a top facilities management and building intelligence technology company with operations across North America.

I drove the company’s growth from its formation to nearly $100 million in revenue within five years, executing five acquisitions along the way.

From 2017 to 2019, I served as CEO and led a successful operational turnaround, expanding profitability and ultimately leading to an acquisition by KBS.

Today, Pristine Environments is part of the KBS Facilities platform, owned by Cerberus, with annual revenue exceeding $2 billion.

My passion for improving access to quality education led me to become a Founding Member of the Board of Trustees of Success Academy Bronx 1, a free public elementary charter school serving 700+ students in the South Bronx.

In 2016, the US Department of Education recognized the school as a “Blue Ribbon School.”

After earning my degree in Finance from NYU, I managed a healthcare and defense portfolio at a global investment fund that I co-founded. During my time at the fund, I invested in over 30 countries and met with more than 1,700 CEOs of global public companies.

I have been fortunate to receive recognition for my efforts and am an alumnus of the Asia Society’s Asia 21 Young Leaders Initiative, the Young Leadership Dialogue of the Australian American Leadership Dialogue, and Atlantik-Bruecke’s German-American Young Leaders Conference.

I am also a French-American Foundation Young Leader and a member of the Advisory Board for The Resolution Project, an organization that develops socially responsible young leaders.

After spending 20 years in New York City, I now live in Dallas with my wife and two children. When I’m not chasing my kids around, I enjoy distance running and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs.
